What is a Doula?

promoting the health and care to expecting moms and their child, after the
birth. "Doula" is a word transpired from ancient Greek, meaning "a woman who
serves," and is now known to refer to a trained expert that provides non-stop physical, emotional and informational support to moms before, during and after
childbirth; or

practical support during the crucial postpartum period.

fewer complications, babies are healthier and they breastfeed easier, but

Role of a Doula

support to women, as well as their partners, during labor and childbirth. We

Every Blissful Mommy receives the following:
•An initial free consultation to get to know each other.
•2 meetings with the Doula to discuss and create your birth plan and
practice techniques to be use.
•24-hour phone assistance around the estimate date of birth.
•Professional labor support at your chosen birthing site.
In our magical bag, we will bring for you to enjoy music ,massage tools ,
visualization and relaxation techniques, aromatherapy, body pampering, Bach
Flowers and continuous informational support, and much more.
Our Fees
•Doula Services - $ 800. There is a deposit of 50% due when you decide to
hire us, with the remaining balance due by your 36th week of pregnancy.
