is a Doula?
Some people think that the word doula is a relatively new word they are
hearing about on TV and in magazines, but the truth is the word "doula"
actually comes from the ancient Greek. Meaning, "a woman who
serves." Today, a doula refers to a specially experienced and
certified professional,
who administers continuous emotional, physical and informational support to
a
mother before, during and after birth; the definition also includes a person who provides emotional and
positive support and reinforcement during the postpartum period. We provide

There are many studies that have been conducted that show that when doulas attend the birth, labors are shorter with
fewer difficulties, babies are healthier and they breastfeed easily.

Our Fees
•Doula Services - $ 800. There is a deposit of 50% due when you decide to
hire us, with the remaining balance due by your 36th week of pregnancy.
