Role of a Childbirth Educator:

To provide new parents with information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and early parenthood.

Goal of a Childbirth Educator:

Blissful Mommy's main goal in our childbirth education classes is simple: to present to our “parents-to-be” their choices in prenatal care, birth options and post-partum care.

Blissful Mommy classes empower new mommys- and daddys-to-be with information so they can make decisions about their birth experience and their new lives as a mother and father with confidence.

We believe women and their birthing companions deserve an opportunity to explore for themselves beliefs about pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting.

Here at Blissful Mommy, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive classes on childbirth in Sunny Isles. In each and every one of our classes, you can expect the following: We are committed to offering research-based information on the childbearing year and to challenging any information that is not backed up by research; to dispel fears and increase confidence about the physiological process of labor, childbirth and early parenting; to educate your birthing companion, giving them the skills and tools they need to be a helpful and supportive partner; to encourage informed decision making and increase confidence in parents' ability to make good decisions for themselves and their babies by exploring options; and to support and build confidence, self responsibility and participation in the learning process.
