Role of a Childbirth Educator:
To provide new parents with information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and early parenthood.
Goal of a Childbirth Educator:
Blissful Mommy's main goal in our childbirth education classes is simple: to present to our “parents-to-be” their choices in prenatal care, birth options and post-partum care.
Blissful Mommy classes empower new mommys- and daddys-to-be with information so they can make decisions about their birth experience and their new lives as a mother and father with confidence.
We believe women and their birthing companions deserve an opportunity to explore for themselves beliefs about pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting.
Are you expecting your first childbirth in Pembroke Pines? If so, let Blissful Mommy give you the tools you need to feel fully prepared for this next chapter. We offer a variety of classes and services to support new parents in this important journey. All of our instructors are committed to offering research-based information on the childbearing year and to challenging information that is not research-based; to dispel fears and increase confidence around the physiological process of labor, childbirth and early parenting; to provide information and learning opportunities that enhances the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion; to encourage informed decision making and increase confidence in parents' ability to make good decisions for themselves and their babies by exploring options; and to support and build confidence, self responsibility and participation in the learning process.
