Role of a Childbirth Educator:
To provide new parents with information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and early parenthood.
Goal of a Childbirth Educator:
Blissful Mommy's main goal in our childbirth education classes is simple: to present to our “parents-to-be” their choices in prenatal care, birth options and post-partum care.
Blissful Mommy classes empower new mommys- and daddys-to-be with information so they can make decisions about their birth experience and their new lives as a mother and father with confidence.
We believe women and their birthing companions deserve an opportunity to explore for themselves beliefs about pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting.
At Blissful Mommy, you'll find comprehensive and eye-opening classes based on childbirth in Pembroke Pines. And not only will we provide you with all the information you need, but we will support you and your partner throughout the whole journey. Each of our childbirth educators are committed to offering research-based information on the childbearing year and to challenging information that is not research-based; to dispelling fears and increasing confidence around the physiological process of labor, childbirth and early parenting; to providing information and learning opportunities that enhances the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion; to encouraging informed decision making and increasing confidence in parents' ability to make good decisions for themselves and their babies by exploring options; and to supporting and building confidence, self responsibility and participation in the learning process.
