Role of a Child Birth Educator
Our role as child birth educators, allows us to provide information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, child birth, postpartum and early parenthood.
Goal of a Child Birth Educator:
The goal in the Blissful Mommy child birth classes is to present to our “parents-to-be” with a variety of choices in prenatal care, birthing options and postpartum care.
Blissful Mommy, child birth classes provide couples with everything they need to make informed decisions about their birthing experience and their new lives as a mother and father.
We believe that women and their birthing companions deserve an opportunity to explore beliefs around pregnancy, child birth and early parenting.
In our childbirth in Fort Lauderdale classes, we provide research-based information, on crucial childbearing year, and to challenge the information that is not backed by research. We dispel fears, while increasing confidence around the physiological process of labor, child birth and early parenting. Providing information and learning experiences that will enhance the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion, to encourage well informed decision making and bolster confidence in parents' ability to make the right decisions for themselves and their babies by exploring options. Plus to support and build confidence, importance and participation in the learning process.
