Role of a Child Birth Educator
Provide information on psychosocial, physiological adaptations to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and early parenthood.
Goal of a Child Birth Educator:
The goal of Blissful Mommy Child Birth classes is to provide our “parents-to-be” with choices in prenatal care, birthing options and postpartum care.
Blissful Mommy classes serve to empower couples with information so that together with their caregivers, they can make decisions about their birth experience and their new lives as a mother and father.
We believe women and their birthing companions deserve the opportunity to explore different beliefs concerning pregnancy, Child Birth and early parenting.
We commit to present research-based information on the childbearing year and to challenge information that is not research based, to dispel any fears and boost confidence around the physiological process of labor and childbirth and early parenting, to provide guidance and learning opportunities that enhances the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion, to promote informed decision making and increase confidence in parents ability to make good decisions for themselves and their babies by exploring options, to support and build confidence, self responsibility and participation in the learning process. Our Fees
•Group Classes - A minimum of couples will be required for this class. A
total of 4 classes
(2 1/2 hours each) once a week - $ 290 per Couple.
•Private Classes - A total of 4 classes (2 hours each) once a week - $
500.
