Role of a Child Birth Educator
Providing information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, Child Birth, postpartum, and early parenthood.
Goal of a Child Birth Educator:
The goal of educational classes at Blissful Mommy Child is to present to our parents-to-be choices in prenatal care, birth options and post partum care.
Blissful Mommy classes will empower couples by providing information that will prepare them to make the decisions about their birth experience and their new lives as a mother and father.
We believe women, as well as their birthing companions, deserve the chance to explore beliefs around pregnancy, child birth and early parenting.
In our classes we offer research-based information on the childbearing year, and conversely, challenge information that is not research based. Furthermore, we promise to: dispel fears and increase confidence around the physiological process of labor and child birth and early parenting. We provide information and learning opportunities that enhances the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion, encouraging informed decision making and increase confidence in parent's ability to make the right decisions for themselves and their babies. Our Fees
•Group Classes - A minimum of couples will be required for this class. A
total of 4 classes
(2 1/2 hours each) once a week - $ 290 per Couple.
•Private Classes - A total of 4 classes (2 hours each) once a week - $
500.
