Role of a Child Birth Educator
Our role involves providing information on physiology, psychosocial adaptations to pregnancy, Child Birth, postpartum, and early parenthood.
Goal of a Child Birth Educator:
The goal at Blissful Mommy's Child Birth education classes are to show our parents-to-be that there are choices in prenatal care, birth options and postpartum care.
Blissful Mommy classes have successfully empowered couples with information, that together with their caregivers, they are able to make the right decisions for them, about their birth experience and their new lives as parents.
We truly believe that women and their birthing companions deserve an opportunity to explore beliefs around pregnancy, child birth and early parenting.
If you're looking for quality childbirth education in Broward, than give Blissful Mommy a call. You will quickly see that we are fully committed and dedicated in presenting research-based information on the childbearing year and to challenge the information that is not research based. We want to help you overcome fears and increase your confidence in the physiological process of labor and child birth and early parenting. Providing information and giving learning opportunities to enhance the knowledge and skills of the birthing companion, and encourage informed decision making, while increasing confidence in the parents ability to make good decisions for themselves and their babies. We let parents-to-be explore their options, and support and build confidence, self responsibility and participation in the learning process.
